Anti fog addtive masterbatch

What is anti fog masterbatch?

Anti-fog Masterbatch is used to prevent the formation of steam in the inner layer of food packaging and greenhouse covers. Accumulation of water on these levels prevents proper light from reaching the plant (reduces it by about 40%) and causes pests and prevents productivity and growth in plants. In another case, these drops landing on the plant and fruit will destroy the product. By increasing the surface tension, the anti-dew masterbatch causes the drops to join together and form a layer that descends from the sides of the film and does not fall on the flowers and plants in the form of drops. The usage percentage of anti-fog masterbatch is 1 to 3%.

The use of polymer films is widely used in the packaging of products, including food products, due to the favorable properties of transparency and reasonable cost.

The anti-fog masterbatch has an incompatible nature with the polymer base, and this causes it to migrate to the surface and increase the surface tension of the film and melt. Anti-fog masterbatch is mainly used in the composition and formulation of the film. Plastic film is used.

Advantages of using anti-fog masterbatch

  • Preventing fogging on interior surfaces
  • Light reaching the plant from all angles and helping to spread the light
  • Help the plant grow
  • Increasing the quality of the product and helping the health of the plant
  • Help for more suitable packaging and full visibility of products with plastic film packaging
