Impact modifer masterbatch
(PC)
Impact modifier masterbatch (PC)
In the world of engineering polymers, thermoplastics such as polyamide and polycarbonate have advantages that most of the compounding industries use for the purpose of producing various parts in which resistance and strength are of great importance. These thermoplastics are resistant to impact. They have low resistance, which can be completely solved by adding polyamide (PC) softener or shock absorber.
Polycarbonate softener: Polycarbonate softener masterbatch with the properties of transparency and quality and increased strength and bending resistance is designed and produced in Armen Polymer Group.
POLYZA ADD 2021
Advantages of masterbatch softener (anti-impact PC)
- Absorption of impact in the elastic part and its loss in its flexible chain
- Compatibility of base polymer with polyamide compound and its reinforcement
- The presence of a bonding agent between the polar polymer of polyamide or polycarbonate and the thermoplastic part of the softening elastomer such as maleic anhydride as an agent with high polarity.
- Compatible with the environment and not having a negative effect on the final product or compound
- Creating high resistance to stress and impact with one percent consumption of Plaiza softener
- Increasing the elasticity of polycarbonate
- Longer durability in the natural environment and climatic stresses
- Increased impact resistance
- Increased bending strength and greater flexibility
- More resistance to UVA (ultraviolet rays)
- Polycarbonate sheets
- Polycarbonate injection parts such as car parts (door handles, headlight bezels)
- Polycarbonate compounding and recycling industry
Application of masterbatch softener (anti-impact PC)
- Recycled polyamide and polycarbonate materials (such as fishing nets, car recycling parts, etc.)
- Injection parts and extrusion products made of polyamide and polycarbonate
- Simple and fibrous polyamide compounding industry
