What is Masterbatch Food Grade?
What is Masterbatch Food Grade?
Products such as masterbatches that have applications in the food packaging industry, in compliance with health standards, receive a health license or food grade license from the Ministry of Food and Drug for each product with technical specifications and a sample.
Color masterbatches
Color pigments
The part that harmonizes minerals with organic materials
Base polymer section
Addtive masterbach
Base polymer section
Compatibilizing section of mineral and organic materials for better integration
Base polymer section
Masterbatches are used as a component with a percentage of one to finally 5% by weight (one kilo to five kilos per hundred kilograms) as a colorant (colored masterbatches) or as an additive (additive masterbatches).
But compounds are mixtures of several components that can contain color pigments, additive agents and compatibilizers as well as base polymers at the same time, and their difference from masterbatches is that compounds are directly added to the final product. They are converted and unlike masterbatches, they are not added as a percentage by weight.
Why is compound used instead of raw materials?
Now we answer this question by mentioning the benefits of compound
Compound benefits
The very uniform combination of the drill bit is the reason that these products are processed in machines where the length of the cylinder and spindle reaches three meters, sometimes more, especially if they are produced in two spiral machines.
Greater resistance to shock/tear/environmental stresses
Longer lifespan and UV resistance
It has quality stability and uniformity in the product production process
The ability to have an agent (additive active substance) in order to create the desired properties in the final product
Reasonable and competitive price in the domestic market and especially in the foreign market
Proper filtering
Common compounds in the plastic industry
Polyethylene pipe compound
Compound for the production of disposable containers
Cartonplast compound
Tank compound
Film production compound, packaging
